How do I play?

Tap Play in the lobby to start a match against bots. Move with the left stick, look by dragging on the right, and use the on-screen buttons to fire, aim, reload, jump and crouch. Game controllers and an iPad keyboard and mouse work too.

How do I play with friends?

Varena uses Game Center. In the lobby, tap a + slot to invite friends to your party, then tap Play. Choose Co-op (together against bots) or Versus (against each other) in the Arena panel. Quick Play finds other players; bots fill any empty places. Make sure you're signed in to Game Center in Settings.

Do characters play differently?

No. Every character and every look is cosmetic: they all play exactly the same.

Coins and gems

You earn coins in every match and spend them on standard and epic looks in the Shop. Gems are bought in packs in the Shop (tap the gem balance) and unlock legendary looks.

I reinstalled Varena or got a new device. Where is my progress?

Your coins, gems and looks are saved in your iCloud. Sign in to iCloud with the same Apple ID in Settings, open Varena, and give it a moment to sync.

A purchase didn't arrive

Close and reopen Varena while connected to the internet: finished purchases are added on launch. If your gems still don't appear, email us with the date of the purchase and your App Store receipt.

Refunds

Purchases are handled by Apple. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
